Protoio Inc. Team Overflow - Dec 2019 to July 2023

Worked on the Overflow product team and helped develop many new features using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Electron.

  • Contributed to the maintenance of the old in-house component library that used CSS and contributed to the development of a new component library with Material UI.
  • Wrote unit tests using Jest and enzyme, to make sure that the components meet the requirements.
  • Contributed to the refactoring of legacy code which improved greatly the overall performance of the Overflow application and the user experience.
  • Conducted code reviews and provided constructive feedback to other developers.
  • Maintained up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
  • Participated in the interview process for new developers and helped train new recruits
